Being a Committee Leader is definitely something to be proud of. It also comes with its share of challenges. Not do you have to guide the team. You also have to convince your fellow members to actively participate and help them grow both personally and professionally.
On top of that, we have the added complexity of ensuring that the internet connection, routers, and ethernet setups are working smoothly.

In this recent year of 2023, the department has updated the lab with new 16 computers. We've to be careful with all those devices.

ICT Committee, DOE introduced an E-Muster to take a record of the use of PCs and Laptops. In this workshop, Ghanshyam dealt with a practical demonstration of how to fill up this form and how we collect data in Google Sheet to make yearly report.

In G-Forms e-Muster of DOE Computer Lab.

After the workshop ended the ICT committee took an approach by creating a feedback questionnaire.  This form was created with the intention of gathering valuable insights from the attendees, enabling them to share their experiences, suggestions, and reflections. The purpose was to create a space where participants could provide their thoughts, thereby contributing to the enhancement of future workshops.

For those who actively engaged in the workshop for the entire duration of two days, a specially designed "E-Certificate" was created to recognize their dedication and participation. Upon submitting the feedback form, these certificates were promptly delivered to their respective email addresses, providing a seamless and efficient process for acknowledging their commitment.

  • This Certificate was generated by Ghanshyam Katariya, designed by Rajeshvari Rana, and guided by Dr. Dilip Barad sir.

Imagination: An Art of Seeing

Photography Workshop

We came together for an engaging and enlightening photography workshop, guided by the expertise of Mr. Kaushik Ghelani, a distinguished wildlife photographer and filmmaker. We delved into the intricacies of photography, unraveling the secrets behind crafting captivating visuals.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Aesthetic Photography:
Dive into the aesthetics of photography and discover how to infuse your work with artistic flair.
  • Make your eyes a camera
  • Learn how to see things.
  • Rule of Third:
This is a fundamental guideline in photography and other visual arts that involves dividing an image into nine equal parts by using two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines.

Rule of Thirds, a fundamental technique for composing visually appealing images.

  • Breathing Space:
Placing the main subject off-center and leaving space around it can create a more dynamic and visually engaging composition.

  • Head Room :

Head room refers to the space between the top of a person's head and the upper edge of the frame. Proper use of head room is important for creating visually balanced and pleasing compositions, especially when capturing portraits or subjects with a human presence.

  • Lead Room:

It's also sometimes referred to as "nose room" or "looking space."

Proper use of a lead room is important for creating a sense of movement and direction in your compositions, particularly when photographing or filming subjects that are in motion.

Unveil the concept of the Leading Room to give subjects the space they deserve.

  • Negative Space :

The upper side part has nothing special and even it's not creating depth.

What to Include & What to Exclude.

  • Centre Focus Rule:

The Center Focus Rule is a guideline in photography that suggests placing the main subject of photograph at or near the center of the frame.

  • Ground Photo:

Ground photography could refer to capturing landscapes, focusing on the ground itself, terrain, natural elements, and features such as mountains, valleys, deserts, forests, and more.

  • Symmetry:

Symmetry is a powerful and visually pleasing compositional technique in architectural photography. It involves creating a balanced and harmonious composition by aligning elements of the architecture in a way that reflects one side onto the other, either horizontally or vertically.

Using symmetry in nature photography can create captivating and visually appealing compositions that highlight the inherent beauty and balance found in the natural world.

  • Geometric Shapes:

These are some rules which are important for photography.

Our newfound knowledge was put to practical use as we roamed the university campus, channeling our creativity through our mobile camera lenses. Each photo was a testament to our unique perspective and creative flair.
