Imagination: An Art of Seeing
Photography Workshop
We came together for an engaging and enlightening photography workshop, guided by the expertise of Mr. Kaushik Ghelani, a distinguished wildlife photographer and filmmaker. We delved into the intricacies of photography, unraveling the secrets behind crafting captivating visuals.
Workshop Highlights:
- Aesthetic Photography:
- Make your eyes a camera
- Learn how to see things.
- Rule of Third:
- Breathing Space:
- Head Room :
Head room refers to the space between the top of a person's head and the upper edge of the frame. Proper use of head room is important for creating visually balanced and pleasing compositions, especially when capturing portraits or subjects with a human presence.
- Lead Room:
It's also sometimes referred to as "nose room" or "looking space."
Proper use of a lead room is important for creating a sense of movement and direction in your compositions, particularly when photographing or filming subjects that are in motion.
Unveil the concept of the Leading Room to give subjects the space they deserve.
- Negative Space :
The upper side part has nothing special and even it's not creating depth.
What to Include & What to Exclude.
- Centre Focus Rule:
The Center Focus Rule is a guideline in photography that suggests placing the main subject of photograph at or near the center of the frame.
- Ground Photo:
Ground photography could refer to capturing landscapes, focusing on the ground itself, terrain, natural elements, and features such as mountains, valleys, deserts, forests, and more.
- Symmetry:
- Geometric Shapes:
These are some rules which are important for photography.
Our newfound knowledge was put to practical use as we roamed the university campus, channeling our creativity through our mobile camera lenses. Each photo was a testament to our unique perspective and creative flair.
